I don't know for sure Stuart. The only machines I ever ran FreeBSD on
didn't have sound so I never played with it. I am sure there is a faq or
how-to somewhere google can find it. I can tell you that on NetBSD, the
sound "just works(tm)". Never had to add a driver for it.
Have you installed netscape yet? It requires linux compatability (I
believe) so that's an easy way to tell if that's working or not.
