If you can upgrade to RH 8, let me know how you did it! All I have been
able to get out of Red Hat is the version they just released, 7.3. :-)
RH7.3 is pretty good. Lotsa bells and whistles.

Yep, sounds like there is no sftp server on the box.

Sure. Find out what port sftp uses (115 according to my /etc/services),
isntall an sftp server and the ntell inetd (or xinetd these days) to
fire it up whenever a connection comes in via port 115.
