[Lvlug] /etc/rc.d directory

I'm right in guessing the each file in /etc/rc.d is processed with the
last file being processed called rc.local, correct?  

I'm double checking here because my qmail package installed a file
/etc/rc.d/rc.qmail and in case the power goes out (for an extended period
of time, yes I have a UPS) or I have to reboot for new hardware I want to
make sure qmail start automatically.
