[Lvlug] Problem burning mandrake cd's

I'm not getting a bootable cd here; and I have tried three different ways.

First was a simple mkisofs with no special parameters.  Then I tried
xcdroast.  Finally it was:

mkisofs -r -G /mnt/cdrom/Boot/cdrom.img -o
/usr/storage/other/mandrake1.iso /mnt/cdrom

I tried doing eltorito, but the cdrom.img is not of correct format.

Each CD looks perfect, but it won't boot.  So I figure I am missing
something.  What could it be?
