[Lvlug] Bug in Athlon regarding AGP

Apparently there is still some debate whether as to bugs in the Nvidia
drivers; since others are experiencing problems with non-athalon/duron
boards.  

It's good, though, that this bug was finally weeded out by the Linux
community.  Amd was aware of it for a year-and-a-half.  There was a win2k
patch.

I was wondering, though, that it said people using pentium optimization in
the kernel had this problem  What if you configured your kernel for
Athalon, not pentium?
