Yeah, windows doesn't have any problems with external modems either.  I do 
have a dual boot system at home that has Redhat 6.1 and Win98 on it.  Windows 
doesn't get used much here, but occasionally I have to use PCAnywhere for 
work, my cheap USB camera, or my scanner.  Other than those instances, I run 
a M$ free shop.
