I'm forwarding an email from Rich who I met at the LVCG meeting last
week.

He's looking for help with installing Linux. As I recall, I gave him
copies of RedHat 6.2 and Suse 7.0 when he stopped by.

I've never installed Suse, and I can't immediately recite installation
advice or instructions for RedHat.

Can anybody help him? Anybody with pointers to a good step by step set
of instructions? Maybe you've emailed such instructions to someone
before?

If no one else can help, I will dig out my notes from the one time I
successfully installed RedHat 6.2 and do my best.

Randy Kramer

Hello,
I forgot your first name, is it starting with an "R"?
Anyway, I am afraid to put in the Linux discs as another operating system,
because of the possible conflict.
Let me know how to do this.
Oh, we met at the computer club show of the Sonal Shah night on tv recording
at the Mack trucks theatre.

All the best go to you; sincerely, Richthere@aol.com
