Yeah, Dann has DSL...  Maybe you're just getting a cruddy connect speed for 
ome other reason?  Anyway, there are quite a few mini distros on the cd.  
There is PhatLinux, Winlinux 2000, Pygmy Linux, MuLinux, VNC, and Xdenu.
