[Lvlug] tty's

I'm not quite sure how this happened, but the other day I switched from
my X-session to a login on tty2.  Did what I wanted to do there and
bumped back to tty 7 (<alt><ctrl><f7>) which is where X usually is, but
it was not there.  So, I started going down through the list and no X,
but tty1 showed X was still up and running.  The next logical step was
to start going up and there it was on tty9.  I am curious as to how this
happeded.  /etc/inittab still shows only 6 tty's available.  Could it be
the xfce did something funky?

Hey Linc, I know you are using xfce, where is your X?
