Didn't the SBC vote a few years back to require "re-baptism" of members
transferring from Churches that do not follow the doctrine of eternal
security? I recall having several discusses with some SB Brothers
regarding this. If I recall correctly, there was even the dismissal and
subsequent reinstatement of a SBC counsel member in protest of this
vote. I am told the local SB Churches in my area do not practice this
"rule".

Seems pretty Salvation oriented to me.... Perhaps I misunderstood your
statement.
