[Linux4christians] Shellfish Logic and the Defense of Homosexual Marriage - EXCELLENT!

I would have a hard time trying to reconciling this theory with the 
following verses:


(Leviticus 18:22) Thou *shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind*: 
it is *abomination*.

(Leviticus 20:13) If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a 
woman, both of them have *committed an abomination*: they shall surely 
be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

(Romans 1:26–27) For this cause God gave them up unto *vile affections*: 
for even their women did change the natural use into that which is 
against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of 
the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men 
*working that which is unseemly*, and *receiving in themselves that 
recompence of their error which was meet*.

1 Corinthians 6:9–11 (KJV) Know ye not that the *unrighteous shall not 
inherit the kingdom of God*? *Be not deceived*: neither fornicators, nor 
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor *effeminate*, nor abusers of themselves 
with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, 
nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such *were *some 
of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified 
in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

/ (NKJV, NASB, ESV, & NET use 'homosexual' the above.) /

(Revelation 21:6–8) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and 
Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst 
of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall 
inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But 
the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and 
*whoremongers*, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have 
their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is 
the second death.

/(NKJV, ESV, & NET use 'sexually immoral' in place of 'whoremongers')/


(Jude 1:7) Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in 
like manner giving themselves over to *fornication*, and going after 
*strange flesh*, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance 
of eternal fire.


The Good news is that you can *have been *and be saved from such, but to 
continue in sin and deny that it is sin.... how can someone have 
forgiveness without repentance? To my way of thinking, the Church should 
be standing on the fact that God can deliver you from sin, rather than 
condoning it.  Seems very cold hearted to condone or even encourage 
something that will ultimately lead to someone's eternal demise.
