*Ephesians‭ 3‬:7-9 (Tuesday)*

"I became a servant of this gospel according to the gift of 
God’s grace that was given to me by the exercise of his 
power.  To me – less than the least of all the saints –this 
grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the 
unfathomable riches of Christ and to enlighten everyone 
about God’s secret plan  – a secret that has been hidden for 
ages in God who has created all things."

*Commentary*

God empowered Paul by first appearing to him then bringing 
others alongside to disciple him in order that Paul might 
effectively challenge the religious elite (as a	former 
peer).  Paul wrote much of the New Testament so that we 
might better know God and what He asks of us.  Paul reminds 
us again that God's saving grace is for all, regardless of 
gender, race, or social status.

*Interaction*

*Consider* the blessing that Paul, despite his history, was 
teachable in spirit and willing to go and to do whatever God 
asked, no matter the cost.

*Discuss* some of the things that you have learned about 
God, and what He expects of you, as a result of reading the 
writings of Paul.

*Reflect* upon those whom God called to serve alongside 
Paul, and those whom God calls today, and how God has used 
them to faithfully teach His truths to generation after 
generation of new believers.

*Share* an example of a faithful teacher, rightly teaching 
the un-altered Word of God, helped you to grow in the 
knowledge of God and in your maturing personal walk with Him.

*Truth in Action*

Thank God for empowering Paul to challenge the religious 
elite, and to write so much of the New Testament, that we 
might better know God and what He asks of us.  Thank Him 
again that His saving grace is for all, regardless of gender 
or race.  Thank God specifically for a part of His Word that 
was made more clear to you by a faithful teacher.
