[Linux4christians] OT: Thatcher quote

Well - that's highly debatable. In the UK, the Labour government is only 
just left of centre and some debate that it's actually more right than 
left now, and I don't think anybody is under the impression that it's 
actually socialist. However, there is a strong argument to suggest that 
beginning of the rot began with the right-wing Conservative government 
back in the Thatcher/Major era, who began the slide into increasing debt 
and unrealistic mortgages. 

Neither government is entirely blameless. I think blaming the current 
crisis purely on a political system is a little short-sighted.
