Addendum - Clarification:

When we, like the people of the 1st Century, treat the
worldly as
equal to the things of God - or higher - Jesus says we are
missing
what is most valuable.

It may be an obsession with church-traditions or other local
cultural
preferences of appearance, convenience, music, programs,
routine,
or style. It may be worries about money, obsession with the
appearance
of cars or property or other possessions, position and
titles, etc. - all
things that will one day pass away and which therefore only
serve us
in the temporary.

Fear & pride-driven obsessions often keep us too busy to
rest in the
Lord.
