Hate to burst your bubble, but Mac OS X is not UNIX either... Mac OS X's
kernel is a combination monolithic and microkernel kernel, whereas UNIX has
a monolithic kernel. Parts of Mac OS X's kernel were copied from the BSD
kernel, but BSD is also monolithic.
