[Linux4christians] Desktop sharing on Kubuntu

Thanks for the help so far everyone.  Yes, I thought 100mb should be 
fine for VNC too, but after upgrading this box to gigabit, things are no 
better. So it appears the network speed is not the issue.

My next guess would be my video card. It's onboard video and this is a 
cheap "barebones" setup - in other words, not such great video 
capabilities.  There's an AGP slot so I could upgrade, but I kind of 
hate to spend the money without any assurance that it will work.

I'm experimenting with other VNC servers and mirror drivers to see if I 
can get any of this working. Will post back with my results.

Quick question - is the mirror driver supposed to be installed on the 
server, the client, or both?
