I'm using it on Debian sarge amd64. apt-get install bibletime.
it might be in kubunutu in universe if not in the main distro. You
might be able to install the debian version in kubuntu. You could
probably recompile the debian sources in kubuntu if the binary did not work.
Can't help you with rpm based distros. sorry
