I'm making progress - in the past when I've used wine, cut and paste
from wine to linux apps did not work. Now it does. Don't know if it is
crossover or just wine in general.

Anyway - I am able to cut and past a chapter at a time from e-sword into
gedit - and it is working out really nice, exactly one verse per line -
so I should be able to (after a lot of grunt work) get something that is
easy to script into a sword module.

I thought about just using a series of wget on the html online bible,
but its output isn't as clean.

With my luck, by the time I'm done - crosswire and lockman will have
finally come to an agreement ...

Having the e-sword version though is handy anyway, since they also have
an nasb with strongs. Hopefully the eventual sword module will too.

I'm half tempted to buy the locked African bible that is available for
sword (AFAIK it is the only one) just to make sure locked modules work
properly in Linux. And request that the a module be made for the
excellent Joyce Baldwin commentary on Daniel :p
