Oh my oh my... I just finished reading this page that AKAlmBatman just posted on this list... unbelievably funny... this has to be read for a good laugh
http://shelleytherepublican.com/2006/04/linux-european-threat-to-our-computers.html

My guess, is it is probably an American down in texas.. hmmm could it be a neighbour of georgie bushes? But seriously folks, this page was
the funniest thing I read in a long time, and yes this lady shelley is quite serious it seems about her rant against Linux, this is not a parody
or joke, but wow what a laugh I got out of this... amazing how funny this was.. I am still rolling on the floor laughing about her comments
about windows versus linux...

  Subject: [Linux4christians] False Teachers

" Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths."

  2 Timothy 4:2-4

I can't help but think of this passage after having read the article Linux: A European threat to our computers[1] and its complement Digg.com, Theinquirer.net : Gutter-dwelling Liberal Attack Sites[2] over on ShellyTheRepublican.com. The author repeatedly invokes the name of God to support her views that the Linux is a European anti-Christian conspiracy, and that Microsoft is the center for things good and Holy. (?) In addition, the author as well as the site's owner refuse to accept correction. (Not from myself, mind you. I have only been observing for now. "Fools rush in...") My conclusion is that this person is willingly acting as a false teacher.

The frustrating part about false teachers like this is that they aren't trying to harm Christians directly (I have a hard time believing that many Christians would be so easily lead astray by this tripe, though it's certainly possible.), but rather the cause of Christianity. The problem is that they are directly harming the spread of God's Word by promoting an image of Christians that's all about hate, blindness, and foolish adherence to all things untrue. The fact that this site has obviously become popular with non-believers (as a source for "amusement") only furthers the devil's goals.

At this moment I am uncertain how to approach this issue. Should we take a stance and fight this, or simply allow God to deal with it in other ways? I am currently praying for guidance on the subject. In the meantime, I ask that we all pray against this spirit of false teachings and pray that it will be exposed for the fraud that it is. Last but not least, I think we should pray for the souls currently cooperating with these spirits. It's easy to forget to love our neighbors when our neighbors are cooperating with the devil's plan. But every soul is precious to the Lord, so let's not allow anger to cloud our judgement.

  Thank you.

(Warning: If you don't feel prepared at the moment to go into the lions den, please do not follow these links! These are obviously very hateful people who have bred a great deal of hate in others. Besides the article itself, many non-Christians have taken it upon themselves to add their own hateful and crude comments. If you are not feeling up for spiritual warfare, it's best that you keep these disgusting things out of your soul.)
