In my VERY humble opinion, (I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistake!)
Mandriva seems far better atuned to the desktop, than to the server. I had
a server
set up on Fedora Core 4, which did great. I upgraded to Ubuntu (Dapper
Drake
6.06), and the server does much better. It seems much faster than the
Fedora,
for some reason.

Oh, and it was an extremely easy install. No hardware glitches. And once
you set
up the repositories, you have over 18,000 packages at your fingertips to
install with
just clicking on what you want.

Blessings.
