I would strongly recommend the just-released
Puppy Linux 2.0.

It includes Seamonkey which is the successor
to Mozilla Suite and contains similar code to
Firefox and Thunderbird but is more closely
integrated.

It is designed to be very compact and to run
on less than state-of-the-art hardware but one
may easily ass-in a ton of apps.

I have it talking to a Samsung laser printer
and a HP OfficeJet printer.
