I don't think things will get fragmented at all.  I think  that there 
just *may* be some people out there who don't like mailing lists who 
would rather use the forum.  As far as that goes, i know there are 
people here who would rather use the email.  There are also people who 
want to be a part of both.  All those are OK.

I am not adding a forum to split the existing users, but to give them 
another tool they can use if they like, and also make that tool 
available as a draw to other potential users as well.
