Fyi, you don't have to restrict your self to just RPM files.
You can easily change dpkg, stampede slp, and slackware tgz files 
to RPM files using alien.

http://www.kitenet.net/programs/alien/ (non-commercial; Alien; interchanges deb, rpm, tgz, ...)
