Ah yes, haha. I have mentioned this before but would like to repeat it
again.

We lived off the grid in the state of Montana for 12 years. Computer? We
didn't even have a phone for 7 years. It wasn't until we moved here to
the state Oregon that we had power. In '96 we built our first box. Wow!
we were impressed. A close brother in the Lord has two sons that are
geeks. They loaded us with tons of software. I thought, "this is amazing
stuff". One day I happened to be at a computer store and noticed that my
accumulation of software amounted to multiple thousands of dollars!!!
Bryce, Softimage, Photoshop etc !0_0!
I weaned myself onto Linux and my conscience is clear. It was a good
example to the boys. I let them know my dilemma and they told me about
Linux. Today they are both working for Playstation2 and are hard core
against pirates :)

Promptly my computer thrashed itself along with a MASSIVE collection of pirated software. I took that to heart, converted to Linux and have searched for truly free software to use on my one Windows machine (although a bit of leaven...).
