I like e-sword as well. There is one problem. It may qualify as free
software(as in beer), but it is not FOSS or available for Linux. I am
not sure that he could get licenses to distribute some of the Bible
versions that he does, if it were FOSS. Biblegateway.com has been great
for preparing teachings for my small group. I just prepared my first
using e-sword, and it definately had some benefits. It is great when
combined with a tablet-pc. I encourage his work. Bible-Time seems to be
one of the better ones for Linux. It uses Sword Modules, which is nice.
It allows the project to benefit by the work of other projects. It is
KDE based, so you have to have the QT libs installed.
