Personally I happen to like the new Openoffice (ex
StarOffice) package.  It's a bit heavy for lower end systems though, so
maybe offer Siag as well?  Churches need the basic apps any other business
would need - word processor, spread sheet, maybe some accounting software,
database apps..
As for other software, anything and everything listed on the L4C site :-)
