Well, actually my current preference was leaning towards mandrake to make
it really easy for newbies (hardware detection and autoconfiguration is
great!), but before I make a final decision I think I want to try outa
variety of distros and see which suits the needs of the project best... Or
maybe just personal preference but that is why I am doing the main part as
a Para-distro...
On the list to test are: Mandrake, RedHat, Slackware, Debian, and maybe a
few others (see distrowatch.com)
