The Wife is now Certified

Filed under: Life — dann @ 10:38 pm

Congratulations to the wife, she just passed her Massage Therapist Certification exam. Now she is a $50 Virginia license away from going into business for herself. Hooray!

Now if only I could get her to give me a massage!

  3. Well first you need to earn credits from some institution that teaches massage therapy and offers “clinic” hours. You need something like over 50 hours of regular massage, 5 hours of chair massage and 5 hours of sports massage. Something like that. Then, after you pass your classes you have to take a certification exam. It’s something like 150 questions and costs about $235. Once certified you have to send another $100 to the nursing board; get insured and get a business license if you are going to go into it yourself.

It’s a lot of work, but worth it.
