LVLUG SPONSORS:

The LVLUG would like to thank the following sponsors for their contributions to our organization. Please check out their sites!

Mojolin
Mojolin is a international Linux job posting and searching website. Linux professionals and enthusiasts can post their resumes on Mojolin.

Wasabi, a commerical distributor of NetBSD has graciously donated cd's, bumper stickers, and other swag to the LVLug. For a free unix that will run on pratically any hardware platform, check them out!

vmware
We thank VMWARE for sending us a complimentary license for their outstanding product. VMWARE allows you to run a virtual machine inside your current OS so that you can run another OS without having to reboot. That means you can run Windows inside linux! It works really well. Check it out!

Mandrake Linux
Mandrake Linux was the first sponsor to jump on board the LVLUG bandwagon. Their current distribution has been rated #1 by many sources! They were gracious enough to send us copies of their 7.0 distribution and some bumper-stickers.

Turbo Linux
Turbo Linux was another early sponsor. Their distribution impressed us and we highly recommend it!

Slackware Linux
Slackware Linux is one of the oldest and most popular distributions of Linux. The LVLUG Web Site is hosted on a machine running Slack!

Red Hat Linux
Red Hat is probably the most popular distribution of Linux in the United States, and also the most documented. They sent us an awesome starter kit and T-Shirts! We wish we had a bigger logo though.

Sair Linux Certification
Sair Linux provides Linux Certification. They sent us an awesome package which included their first training module, cd wallets chock full of the most current linux distros, utilities, and documentation, and T-shirts. A lot of T-Shirts! Their certification program looks top notch. They have offered discounts to LVLUG members.

O'REILLY BOOKS
O'Reilly is the penultimate publisher of Unix and linux books. If you are at all into linux, you must start an O'Reilly collection. Their books are incredibly informative as well as accessible to new and veteran users a like. O'Reilly is the ultimate reference! LVLUG members get a discount on O'Reilly books ordered from O'Reilly's website.

Maximum Linux.org
The magazine may be gone, but the legend lives on at Maximum Linux.org. A useful site for news and support forums.
