Whats on Linux for
Christians

Dedication:
This site is dedicated to the Christian use of one of
my favorite OS's, Linux! What you will see here
(provided you keep coming back) is a project oriented
repository of information pertaining to, how to, and
why to, use Linux as a Christian and in a Christian
organization.
Why do it:
The reason I saw a real need for this type of website
is , as a Christian, I was looking for some
things like Bibles, and quotes for the fortune program
that were Christian that could be used on Linux. I
found that although there are a few of these types of
programs, they are difficult to locate since the search
engines keep turning up "Christian" as a name and not a
relationship :-) Another thing I was looking for was
some interesting Christian oriented projects... Things
like networking your church with Linux, Converting your
church computers to Linux, or using Linux in really any
Christian situation. I plan to address these things and
more on this site and you will be able to find info
when it becomes available as links on the left of the
web page.
