if you can't wait, you can always get the ogg for this episode immediately from the archives directory :)

Though of course, Morten maintains the official feed :)

just an FYI guys.

i just tried downloading the OGG again. same thing, the OGG is only 18.6 and cuts out at 23:17min. i just grabbed the MP3 its 22.3mb/48:40min.

maybe the OGG didn't convert right?

(my tin foil hat says you guys are breaking the OGG to get everyone back to MP3! take that bad apples, and linux cranks!) just joking of course.

Sorry, it looks like there was an error in my transfer when I grabbed it. I'll pull it in again, up within the hour.
As for breaking the Ogg file... maybe it hopped over an IIS server along the way and got "adjusted".
The problem not being discovered has a very clear chain of logic:
I have been ill with the flu.
=> So, I have not walked the dog, my wife has
=> So, I have not been consuming audio at the usual rate
=> So, I have not discovered there was a problem.

You were talking about adding the cast to iTunes - you should consider adding it to Podcast Alley and Podcast Pickle, too.
As for the MP3 vs. Ogg question - you can pick up MP3 players up for practically nothing - where I live, the selection of cell phones without MP3 players is getting limited. I was fortunate to find a good and affordable Ogg player, the Meizu M6, which also does FLAC, but such players are often more expensive than the MP3 players.
As for Arch, I agree that it sometimes seems that it suddenly pulls in HUGE a bucketload of dependencies! But then, that is probably the reaction of the Slackware user.
Regarding the email address, I was always wondering why you don't have one using your own domain?

/edit: File pushed.

Thanks for "reacting" so quickly :)
Hope you're doing better now

Noted!

Yes, there are also some very cheap Symbian phones around on which you can install the little OggPlay player & Nokia Podcasting.

It does, it does.

Because this one just forwards the emails to my central inbox and it was already there when I created the project in tuxfamily.

Some molecular biologist took it upon himself to debunk the 'Linux users immune to viruses' myth.

Conspiracy theory: Isn't Fab's girlfriend a biologist?
Maybe she's tired of competing with a Linux podcast...
