The main guy at SoundExchange, Jon Simson, that may be behind killing internet radio through super high fees, used to be my brother's manager. My brother hooked up with him before SoundExchange was really on anybody's map. Wired has a video interview with Jon Simson. This is the first time I've seen him.

My brother was killed in a car accident a year and a half ago. He was only 47. It's strange to see that his ex-manager is one of the main people trying to kill internet radio. I haven't had a chance to do this yet, but I plan to put up all of his songs under a CreativeCommons non-commercial license on his website http://alanandrews.com/ . I guess there's a little irony there.

I do not know how you feel, but I am on your side. We have lost several close family members lately and it just can not be explained. We will try to move on.
